Specialist subsea foundations and anchoring solutions company, Subsea Micropiles, has appointed Els Verbraecken as a Non-Executive Director of its board as it continues its rapid growth journey.
Els Verbraecken brings a wealth of experience in corporate finance and strategic leadership, having spent the last 12 years as the Chief Financial Officer of DEME Group.
A strong advocate for sustainable development in the maritime and energy sectors, the Belgium-based executive also has extensive board-level experience spanning both private and public sector organisations.
During her time at DEME, she played a key role in shaping financial strategy, taking the company public in 2022, and fostering growth in global markets, including offshore wind, environmental cleanup, and complex marine infrastructure.
