General – Steel Cutting
Dragados Offshore announced the start of the steel blocks fabrication at its subcontractors facilities: Cimolai in Italy and Eversandai in UAE.
The first steel-cutting ceremonies took place successfully at both sites, being the trigger of a new phase in the execution of the 2GW HVDC Offshore Platform for TenneT Germany’s offshore grid connection LanWin2.
This milestone represents another step forward and reinforces DragadosOffshore’s commitment and collaboration with partner SiemensEnergy, with the European Energy Transition and with client TenneT.
