General – Cooperation

Singapore’s Seatrium has teamed up with India’s Cochin Shipyard to boost cooperation in the offshore sector across India and Asia.

Seatrium Offshore Technology (SOT), a wholly owned subsidiary of Seatrium, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday with Cochin Shipyard, India’s largest shipyard, forging a new partnership for offshore solutions.

“Under the MoU, SOT and Cochin Shipyard will combine their complementary strengths: SOT’s engineering excellence and specialised equipment and offshore solutions, and CSL’s extensive infrastructure, fabrication facilities and ship repair expertise to leverage business opportunities,” Seatrium said in a statement on Thursday.
