Earlier this week, Vard Vung Tau hosted the keel laying ceremony for hull 989, the second Service Operation Vessel (SOV) designed and constructed by VARD for Dong Fang Offshore (DFO).
A highlight of the day was the lucky coin laying ritual – a cherished maritime tradition symbolizing good fortune and safe journeys for the vessel and its crew.
