Wind Energy – Taiwan
Synera Renewable Energy (SRE) selected Siemens Gamesa to supply 35 of its 14MW wind turbines from its industrial nacelle factory in Taichung, Taiwan for our 495MW Formosa 4 Offshore Wind Project.
Building on the strong partnership forged during two previous projects, SRE is delighted to work with Siemens Gamesa again for Formosa 4.
Formosa 4 holds special significance as our first successful bid in Phase 3 and our third offshore wind farm in Taiwan since pioneering the local offshore wind industry in 2012. We are committed to bringing this project to life and adding fresh momentum to the energy transition in Taiwan and across the Asia-Pacific.
