Fossil Energy – Drilling

Borr Drilling has secured contracts for two of its jack-ups, with all three assignments set to start later this year, the company said in an Aug. 27 update.

In the North Sea, Dana Petroleum has issued a binding Letter of Award (LoA) for the Prospector 1 rig to drill one well, likely starting in November with an estimated duration of 30 days.

Upon completion of the program, the same rig will drill three wells in the Dutch North Sea for ONE-Dyas, with the 210-day campaign due to begin in December. The ONE-Dyas LoA includes options to extend the work by a further 210 days.

Offshore Congo, New Age has booked the Natt jack up to drill one well over an anticipated period of 60 days, starting in November. The total value of all three deals exceeds $43 million, excluding options, mobilization, and demobilization compensation.

Finally, Borr’s Odin jack-up has initiated operations offshore Mexico under a one-well contract.
