First Inch Cape’s export cable sets sail!

General – Export Cable

The initial section of Inch Cape’s first export cable has departed the Port of Blyth en route for installation by Enshore Subsea off the Scottish coast.

Cable lay vessel CMOS Installer left port with the 28 kilometre section of 220kV, three-phase export cable yesterday evening.

Each of Inch Cape’s two 85 kilometre export cables will be laid in three sections with two offshore cable joints.
