Wind Energy – New Contracts
Ocean Installer has secured two new contracts for the North Sea Giant (NSG) in 2025.
The scopes include cable repair and cable installation for customers in the offshore wind market, representing approximately three months of offshore work.
The award-winning DP3 construction vessel is equipped with a 400t AHC crane, a 150t VLS system, and two work-class ROVs. With its large back deck and flexible configuration, the NSG is ideally suited for complex subsea operations across both renewable and oil & gas sectors.
Mobilization for the first project is already underway, with the second to follow in Q3/Q4 2025.
