Macro Offshore enters offshore wind with Crossway Eagle

Stian Eiken, Operations and Technical Manager in Macro Offshore, announced on social media that Crossway Eagle will transition into offshore wind service following the ongoing campaign in the UK sector.

The rig is scheduled for a yard stay at Windport in Mandal, Norway, for class renewal and preparations before being transported across the Atlantic on a heavy-lift vessel.

In Q1 2026, Crossway Eagle will commence operations on the Empire Wind project for Equinor, located offshore New York.

This milestone marks Macro Offshore’s entry into offshore wind.
