Wind Energy – Cable Installation
Louis Dreyfus Travocean shares that the 61st and final inter-array cable was installed two days ago at the Yeu Noirmoutier Offshore Windfarm.
This accomplishment paves the way for a transmission capacity of 512 MW.
The Geoquip Elena (Geoquip Marine), converted into a highly efficient Cable Laying Vessel with a bespoke project-specific deck layout, will be demobilized early July from the Dunkirk offshore base.
Termination and testing activities performed by Prysmian from the SOV Island Diligence (Island Offshore) are on track to conclude in July.
