These platforms are part of TenneT’s 2 GW offshore grid connection programme.

With these awards, KCI is further developing its already extensive expertise in the offshore converter market, taking on the design of two mega substructures that will stand as engineering landmarks in the North Sea.

KCI will deliver Jacket Structural Analysis for LanWin2 and BalWin3 , covering the full engineering scope: concept, basic, and detailed design, including German BSH regulation compliance.

These platforms are part of two TenneT 525kV HVDC Grid Connection Systems, converting AC power from offshore wind farms into DC for efficient transmission to shore.
