Wind Energy – Thor

Dajin Heavy Industry successfully delivered all 36 monopiles for RWE’s Thor Offshore Wind Farm.

11 monopiles are already installed off the Danish coast.

From the first steel cutting in January 2024 to completion, the project spanned over a year of close collaboration with our client and dedicated effort.

The Thor project represents a milestone for Dajin, as it is not only our first TP-less monopile project but also the first project in which the company took full responsibility for transportation.

Thor (Denmark) and Nordseecluster (Germany) are joint offshore wind projects of RWE (51%) and Norges Bank Management Investment (49%). RWE is in charge of construction and operations throughout the lifecycle of the offshore wind farms.
