Fossil Energy – MoU

Shell and China’s Offshore Oil Engineering Company (COOEC) have signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at deepening their strategic partnership and expanding cooperation across traditional oil and gas as well as low-carbon energy sectors.

The MoU updates and builds upon a previous agreement signed in 2022 and reflects the growing scope of collaboration between the two companies.

Since their first MoU, Shell and COOEC have worked together on floating wind R&D and the development of electric vehicle charging stations, among other initiatives.
