Jeonnam 1 is a 96 MW offshore wind project off the coast of South Korea set to produce 301 million kWh of electricity annually – enough to power around 90,000 households for a year.

Thomas Wibe Poulsen, partner at CIP and Head of Asia-Pacific (APAC) says: “The commercial operation of Jeonnam 1 marks a major milestone for both CIP and our partners, as well as for Korea’s offshore wind industry. CIP will continue to contribute to the development of the Korean offshore wind industry with various domestic partners, supply chains, and government ministries.”
