General – Appointment
The Pennavel project team is growing stronger with the arrival of Jérôme Hilt as the new project director.

His appointment will allow Pennavel to actively prepare for the industrial phase, as Jérôme Hilt is an expert in this field.
The floating offshore wind project in southern Brittany is entering a strategic phase of its development, marked by the consolidation of an ambitious industrial plan, rooted in local communities and creating local value. To support this next step, the team is being strengthened with the appointment of Jérôme Hilt.
With significant experience at EDF Renewables, Jérôme Hilt has held several key positions, notably as a foundations expert and EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Installation) director for major offshore wind projects in France and internationally.
He brings valuable technical and strategic expertise to ensure the robustness of the industrial plan and to support its implementation in line with the commitments made to local communities.
This appointment also marks the end of Aldrik de Fombelle’s mission, who had taken over the project management after its awarding in May 2024. He successfully led the initial phase, laying strong foundations for development and building an effective and capable team. His work helped establish a trusting relationship with local stakeholders and initiated the preparatory work under optimal conditions.
Aldrik de Fombelle now returns full-time to offshore wind activities at Elicio—one of Pennavel’s two shareholders, alongside BayWa r.e.—but he will continue to closely follow and support Pennavel’s future development.
