Fossil Energy – Contract

Olympic Subsea secured a five-year Walk-to-Work (W2W) contract with Aker BP with options for another five years.

This key milestone will see the vessel supporting the unmanned Munin platform in the Yggdrasil area, as well as the Valhall PWP-Fenris hook-up campaign in 2026.

Olympic Notos is a hybrid-powered vessel based on the ULSTEIN SX222 design. With exceptional fuel efficiency, year-round operability, and top-tier comfort, the vessel is ideally suited for the demanding conditions of the North Sea.

“This contract brings Olympic’s total backlog across oil and gas and renewables to more than 500 million USD,” said Stig Remøy, CEO of Olympic.

The contract is scheduled to commence in Q1 2026.
