First wind turbine successfully installed for Hai Long!

Wind Energy – Taiwan

Joint venture CSBC-DEME Wind Engineering (CDWE), Taiwan’s first offshore wind EPCI contractor, has completed the installation of the first wind turbine for the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project, using the turbine installation vessel Blue Wind.

This milestone marks a significant leap forward in the project’s construction phase.

The Hai Long Offshore Wind Project will feature 73 Siemens Gamesa 14-222 DD turbines, making it the largest offshore wind farm in Taiwan to date. With a total capacity of over 1GW, Hai Long is a landmark project in Taiwan’s path toward large-scale renewable energy development.

Moving forward, the Hai Long Project will continue to advance steadily, injecting new energy into Taiwan’s green transition and powering a more sustainable future.
