Sif will continue to manufacture foundations for Empire Offshore Wind LLC according to the contract.
Sif and the Empire Wind 1 project team will continue the pragmatic and constructive partnership cooperation on this project and dialogue on the effects of changes to the contract.
Empire Offshore Wind LLC has contracted Sif for the supply of 54 monopiles and transition pieces to form the Empire Offshore Wind Farm 1. The first monopile was completed in November 2024, and recently, the first six of 54 foundations have departed Rotterdam for transit to New York.
