Wind Energy – Secondary Foundation Structures
Portuguese maritime engineering company Etermar has received an order to supply secondary foundation structures for the 1.5-GW Baltica 2 offshore wind farm project.
Developers of the project are Polish utility PGE and Danish energy major Ørsted.
From March onwards, Etermar will be manufacturing, storing and loading out over 100 external working platforms of the wind turbine generator (WTG) foundations.
The work will be carried out at Etermar’s headquarters in Setubal.
