Wind Energy – Thor OWF

COSCO successfully transported all 36 monopiles for the THOR Offshore Wind Farm.

COSCO’s semi-submersible vessels Xiang Rui Kou and Hua Yang Long executed four voyages, transporting the monopiles (each weighing 1,400 tons) from Penglai, China, to Eemshaven, Netherlands, via the Suez Canal.

Hua Yang Long spearheaded the 1st and 3rd voyages with precision, while Xiang Rui Kou completed the 2nd and 4th ones, showcasing seamless collaboration across complex logistics.
