General – Conversion

Besiktas Shipyard completed a unique conversion project for the Bos Princess, transforming it from a Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) into a Geotechnical Drilling Vessel to serve the offshore wind industry.

As part of this transformation, the Turkish yard carried out a Moon Pool opening, Rig Tower, and A-frame installation to enhance its drilling capabilities. Additionally, Besiktas completed Azimuth Thruster maintenance and a comprehensive overhaul to ensure optimal performance in demanding offshore conditions.
