Final batch of monopiles for RWE’s Thor Project

Saturday, March 1 2025

Wind Energy – Thor

Dajin Heavy Industry announced that on February 26, the final 10 monopiles for RWE’s Thor offshore wind project were safely stored at Eemshaven port.

The successful delivery of the 36 Thor project monopiles represents a significant milestone for Dajin, as it is not only its first TP-less monopile project but also the first where the company took full responsibility for transportation.

From the first steel cutting in January 2024 to the final delivery, the project spanned over a year of collaboration and dedicated effort.
