Sophisticated tool to give ROTV pilots advanced notifications

General – UXO Detection

During one of G-TEC’s latest UXO detection projects, the team encountered a challenging environment and developed an innovative tool to help ROTV pilots.

The uneven bathymetry, characterized by steep underwater dunes and pre-installed piles protruding from the seabed, significantly increased the risk of collisions involving the magnetometer frames.

To address these challenges, the G-TEC project team developed a sophisticated tool in collaboration with its GIS experts to give ROTV pilots advanced notifications regarding anticipated depth variations along each run line.

The intuitive and user-friendly interface visualizes various pertinent parameters, enabling pilots to navigate the magnetometer frames within the required altitude thresholds effectively and without incident.
