General – Greener Future

Chief Commercial Officer Jeppe la Cour announced in a post on social media that the Port of Roenne recently joined the DeCoInter Project.

Over the next three years, the Port of Roenne will collaborate with partners from Poland, Lithuania, Sweden, Denmark, and Germany to develop real-world solutions for sustainable transport and efficient energy use. Through DeCoInter, the ports are actively shaping a greener future for ports in the South Baltic Sea.

Roenne’s Project Manager, Olga Uribe, attended the project’s kick-off with an inspiring study visit to the Port of Gdansk. There, she gained valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of green transformation in the maritime sector. Seeing firsthand how ports adapt to a sustainable future sets the stage for the work ahead.
