Wind Energy – Japan

Given the rapid growth of Japan’s offshore wind sector, Cyan Renewables has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Toyo Construction Co. to establish a strategic partnership focused on developing a comprehensive supply chain for offshore wind support vessels in Japan.

This collaboration will leverage both companies’ strengths—Cyan Renewables’ expertise in offshore wind support vessels and Toyo Construction Co.’s construction and engineering capabilities, to enhance the supply chain for offshore wind projects in Japan and potentially across the region.

Keng Lin Lee, CEO of Cyan Renewables, said: “Cyan brings invaluable expertise, high-quality assets, and a regional presence, which will be instrumental in executing our shared vision of supporting the clean energy transition in Japan. We are excited to be working together with Toyo to explore opportunities to develop our state-of-the-art vessel solutions and support our mutual goal to accelerate renewable energy.”
