General – UXO Identification and Clearance

British-owned, Pritchard-Gordon group of companies with maritime expertise, today announces the launch of PG Renewables, a turnkey contractor providing offshore and nearshore UXO identification and clearance services to the marine renewables markets.

Focused on reducing risk and optimising productivity for offshore wind farm developers within the UK and Europe, PG Renewables offers clients the benefit of highly experienced Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) specialists, proven low and high order techniques and the only remote ordnance lifting system to be proven at scale.

Commenting on the launch, Company Director, Henry Keane, said: “We are excited to officially announce the launch of PG Renewables. With this addition to our portfolio in the offshore wind and marine renewables market, we are continuing our commitment to supporting the energy transition whilst safeguarding the marine environment. Together, the PG Renewables team has a demonstrative track record of success in the UXO space, having completed more than 10 wind farms and 5 subsea infrastructure projects to date without incident. We are proud to be taking this next step and supporting this sector as a wholly owned, British company with significant experience operating in the marine environment.”

PG Renewables has secured the experience of UXO and EOD solutions provider EORCA UK on an exclusive basis. This arrangement provides clients with access to an extensive and innovative range of EOD equipment as well as highly skilled EOD supervisors, technicians and divers.
