bp will build a new platform at the Shah Deniz gas condensate field located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.
The platform will operate in a fully autonomous mode. Low-pressure gas from the Alpha and Bravo platforms will be collected here and, transported to the Sangachal terminal following the pressure boost,” Tamam Bayatly, Head of the bp Azerbaijan Press Office, emphasized.
The project for the construction of the new platform will be presented to the public next week, and the final financial decision will be made this year.
