Jonathan Cole is stepping down as chief executive of Corio Generation at the end of January for personal reasons, Reuters reported earlier this week.
Jonathan has been chief executive of the offshore wind developer since its launch by Macquarie Group in 2022. He will be replaced in the role by former Ørsted wind head Samuel Leupold, who is currently chairman at Corio.
The change follows reports last October that Macquarie Group is mulling a sale of Corio, and also news last month that it is considering job cuts in response to challenging market conditions.
