Wind Energy – FEED Contract

Enersea from the Netherlands has been awarded a contract by AFRY to provide the FEED for the offshore substation of the Liivi Bay Offshore Wind Farm.

The Liivi Bay Offshore Wind Farm, developed by Enefit Green, will be located in the Gulf of Riga. It will feature up to 84 turbines with a total capacity of 1,000 MW, generating up to 4 TWh of electricity annually for the Estonian and Latvian grids.

AFRY won the tender for the complete design of this wind farm and has entrusted Enersea with offshore substation design.

Together with AFRY, Enersea was present in Estonia at the project kick-off meeting in early January.

Construction of the wind farm is scheduled between 2028 and 2030.
