Jacket designs by Enersea for German HVDC topsides

Tuesday, January 14 2025

Wind Energy – Engineering

Enersea from the Netherlands has successfully completed the concept design of two jackets for a German offshore wind farm.

These jackets, designed for installation at water depths of approximately 40 meters, will each weigh between 8,000 and 10,000 tons, excluding skirt piles. They will support two HVDC topsides ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 tons.

In addition to the concept design, Enersea’s scope also included the in-place analysis, push-over analysis, and temporary phase analysis.

Furthermore, Enersea took care of all design drawings.
