Fossil Energy – Testing

The Axess Group from Norway has secured significant contracts with two major Oil & Gas companies for guided wave ultrasonic testing.

Guided wave ultrasonic testing executed offshore.

These contracts are the culmination of extensive efforts by the Quality Control (QC) and In-Service Inspection (INSI) departments. The service is designed to provide clients with the insights necessary for assessing the remaining lifespan of critical equipment, including caissons, conductors, and risers.

This technology empowers the Group to deliver a fully integrated solution for change-out projects, from comprehensive inspections to equipment replacements, further strengthening our capabilities within the Splash Zone segment.

“We believe in investing in technology and enhancing the competencies of our engineers to ensure that we meet the highest industry standards. The contracts are a testament to our commitment to innovation and continuous improvement,” Håvard Sletvold, Group Director – AIM at Axess Group said.
