Eurazeo is delighted to announce the financing of the first offshore wind survey vessel by Eurazeo Sustainable Maritime Infrastructure (ESMI) fund for the Irish Mainport Holdings, in collaboration with advisor Elbe Financial Solutions (EFS).
Mainport is a leading provider of integrated marine services to the energy sector. This investment funds the construction of one hybrid survey vessel, a state-of-the-art low consumption vessel designed to support the growing European offshore wind market.
The vessel will be employed under a long-term contract with established subsea services specialist and vessel operator N-Sea.
ESMI fund, which in Eurazeo’s impact range supports the decarbonisation of the maritime sector by financing assets that accelerate the environmental and energy transition, has achieved 75% of its deployment.
