UK’s Serica Energy restarts production at Triton vessel

UK’s Serica Energy said that its Triton floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel in the North Sea resumed production on Dec. 27, with a phased restart of the producing and new wells ongoing.

It said its 2024 annual production averaged 34,600 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd), slightly below its previous forecast of 35,000 to 36,000 boepd.

“Production in the second half of 2024 was disappointing and well below the potential of our asset base,” accoding to Chris Cox, Serica’s CEO.
