Fossil Energy – Production

CNOOC has started production from its Suizhong 36-2 oilfield development in the Liaodong Bay region of Bohai Sea offshore eastern China.

This is based around an unmanned wellhead platform that will eventually be connected to 16 production wells and five water injectors in an average water depth of 27 m.

Production should peak at about 9,700 boe/d in 2026.
