General – Mooring Scope

Delmar Systems announced its selection by Archer Wind to deliver the mooring scope for the Culzean Floating Wind Pilot Project.

Culzean Floating Wind Pilot Project TotalEnergies.

The Culzean Floating Wind Pilot Project, an initiative by TotalEnergies, will feature a 3MW floating wind turbine positioned 2 km west of the Culzean production complex in the UK central North Sea and scheduled to be fully operational by the end of 2025.

Delmar Systems will provide the complete mooring systems for the floating wind turbine, which will moor the modular, light semi-submersible floater hull designed by Ocergy to the seabed. This innovative floater design promises fast assembly and optimized costs, advancing the standards in floating wind technology.

Archer Wind, is collaborating with TotalEnergies and progressing with detailed engineering, fabrication, and assembly. Delmar Systems’ expertise in mooring solutions will play a crucial role in the successful deployment and operation of the wind turbine.
