Tim Meyerjürgens has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TenneT Germany.

The appointment will be effective January 1st, 2025.

As of that date TenneT will strengthen its national focus by working in two national organizations in the Netherlands and Germany, held together as a group under a single holding company.

This organizational adjustment will facilitate future growth as well as potential private investment in TenneT Germany, which is being evaluated by TenneT Holding and the Dutch state as its sole shareholder.

Manon van Beek, CEO of TenneT Holding said: “Tim Meyerjürgens has been a key architect of successful innovation and grid expansion in Germany. He is a trusted leader with an unrivalled track record. He also stands for continuity in cooperation across both our markets which will continue to be a crucial success factor for TenneT going forward.”
