LS Cable & System supplied the subsea power cables connecting 10 units of Siemens Gamesa’s offshore wind turbines to the onshore substation, and LS Marine Solution mobilized its GL2030 cable laying barge (CLB) to transport and install the power cables.

This milestone marks the South Korean offshore construction company’s first offshore wind farm subsea power cable installation project.

The 96 MW Jeonnam 1 Offshore Wind Farm Project has entered the commissioning phase this month and the completion of the commissioning is set for the first quarter of 2025.
