The scope of ECE Offshore is part of Jan De Nul’s framework agreement with TenneT on the German 2 GW grid connection systems, under which ECE Offshore will handle engineering, procurement, and execution of the Waddensea cable installation portion for three projects scheduled from 2026 to 2030, for which the preparations have started immediately.

Sam Verdel, Technical Director at ECE Offshore: “The challenging conditions in the Waddensea are a perfect match for ECE’s expertise. Our knowledge and experience align well with Jan De Nul’s capabilities. We believe our creativity and experience bring added value to any project.”
