Wind Energy – Tender
RVO has published the tender scheme for the plots IJmuiden Ver Gamma and Nederwiek I.
This includes the granting of permits for the 3 plots: IJmuiden Ver Gamma A and B and Nederwiek I A.
At IJmuiden Ver Gamma the emphasis is on system integration, at Nederwiek I-B on ecology. The scheme includes a number of additional criteria. For example, the IRBC component has been expanded and it is taken into account whether room is made for internships.
The upcoming tender concerns 3 lots: IJmuiden Ver Gamma – A and B and Nederwiek I A.
For the Nederwiek I-A plot, the emphasis is on reducing the negative impact of a wind farm on nature in the North Sea. And on ideas that can strengthen nature. So the emphasis is on ecology.
In the case of the IJmuiden Ver Gamma-A and IJmuiden Ver Gamma-B plots, there is more focus on the integration of electricity into the onshore energy system. The electricity grid in the Netherlands is overloaded (grid congestion) and offshore wind farms generate a lot of electricity.
