In January, he will transition to GE Vernova as the Global Chief Commercial Officer, Wind.

For nearly 5 years Hardy had senior roles in the US offshore business at Ørsted and for more than 2 years he led the full US business, including offshore and onshore wind, solar, battery storage and green fuels projects.

Wind energy is an important part of the current and future energy system. After Hardy left the Navy in 1998, he worked for GE for more than 10 years. Later he worked in the US and abroad for 2 other wind turbine OEMs for around 10 more years combined.
