Wind Energy – Hai Long Taiwan
CDWE in Taiwan concluded the Hai Long 2 Offshore Wind Project Foundation & Offshore Substation installation.
Leveraging the DP3 heavy lift vessel Green Jade, CDWE has installed all jacket foundations and the offshore substation (OSS) at Hai Long 2 as well as the foundation of the Hai Long 3 OSS.
The Hai Long Offshore Wind Project held a blessing ceremony in April this year, officially announcing the launch of offshore construction.
Working in challenging water depths between 35-55m and distances of 45-55km offshore, Green Jade has impressively installed:
• 111 pin piles;
• 37 jacket foundations;
• 2 OSS jacket foundations;
• 1 OSS topside.
These accomplishments cover a significant part of the 73 turbine locations for the Hai Long Offshore Wind Project.
