Wind Energy – Taiwan

Poseidon Cables has announced a new partnership with NCT Offshore to provide cable pre-rigging and pull-in services for the Greater Changhua 2b and 4 offshore wind farms in Taiwan.

The project, located 35-60 km off the coast of Changhua County, is set to become Taiwan’s largest wind power complex upon completion. It will generate enough clean energy to power 1 million Taiwanese households annually.

Poseidon Cables will be responsible for the critical task of pre-rigging and pulling in inter-array cables, a key part of the infrastructure needed to bring the wind farms online.

This contract marks a significant milestone in Poseidon’s growth as a leading provider of subsea cable solutions for offshore renewable energy projects.
