General – Hydrogen

Last week NORCE Norwegian Research Centre and TNO from the Netherlands signed a  Memorandum of Understanding, formalising a long-term strategic collaboration within hydrogen and energy infrastructure.

The strong collaboration between NORCE and TNO will help to achieve successful implementation of the green shift, said Kristin Flornes, EVP Energy & Technology.

NORCE and TNO have worked together for a long time, not the least in our centre for hydrogen research, HyValue. Now we will look particularly at the development of blue hydrogen production in the Netherlands, with Norwegian gas and CO2 storage in the Northern Lights project.

Rene Peters, Business Director of Gas Technology at TNO, said Norway and the Netherlands are in the perfect position to develop blue hydrogen together.
