General – Yard Expansion
Strohm, based in IJmuiden, the Netherlands, announced a yard expansion project.
The yard doubles to approximately 3,000 sqm, allowing additional space for pipe completion activities and reel storage.
The project will also allow Strohm to extrude either the liner or fully coated Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP) directly to a reel, without using a carousel, improving operational efficiency and increasing production capacity.
