Vår Energi granted Barents Sea drilling permit

Fossil Energy – Drilling

Vår Energi has been granted a drilling permit by The Norwegian Offshore Directorate for wildcat wells 7122/7-8 and 7122/8-3 S in production license (PL) 229 in the Barents Sea.

The wells will be drilled by the COSL Prospector semisubmersible drilling rig.

Vår Energi is operator at PL 229 (65%) with partner Equinor Energy holding the remaining 35%.
