Seaway7 completes Moray West cable work

Wind Energy – Moray West

Seaway7 has completed the full scope of its engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning for the cables on Ocean Winds’ 882MW Moray West Offshore Wind farm.

The cable team installed 118km of 66kV inner-array cables connecting the project’s 60 turbines to two offshore substations and 15km of 66kV cabling connecting the two substations.

JDR Cable Systems provided the cables, and installation was based out of Aberdeen.
