Fossil Energy – Topside Modification
Aker Solutions has been awarded a substantial EPCIC contract by Equinor to modify the topside of Troll A, enhancing production from the Troll West gas reservoir.
This contract includes EPCIC to prepare the Troll A platform for gas processing from eight new wells at Troll West.
The Troll field, located 80 km northwest of Bergen, is Norway’s largest gas producer, supplying 10% of Europe’s gas needs.
