Thursday, October 3 2024

General – Pipeline Design

Enersea from Schiedam, the Netherlands, has achieved a major milestone, having completed the design of 1,500 kilometers of pipelines and umbilicals over the past nine years.

Moreover, 80% of the installed Dutch offshore infrastructure, of pipelines and umbilicals during this period, has been designed by Enersea.

This impressive achievement underscores Enersea’s leadership in offshore pipeline design.

Also, the integration of subsea pipelines with offshore platforms for the transportation of oil & gas and hydrogen is a key competence of Enersea.

Enersea’s approach to pipeline design encompasses both concept and detailed design, as well as flow assurance and installation management. Additionally, Enersea offers expertise in pipeline integrity management, lifetime extension, and the repurposing of existing hydrocarbon pipelines for new applications such as hydrogen transport or Carbon Capture Utilisation & Storage (CCUS).

This milestone solidifies Enersea’s position as a true expert in pipelines and umbilicals within offshore infrastructure, paving the way for future advancements in sustainable energy infrastructure.
