Maersk Supply Service has been awarded a contract by Cenovus Energy for a Field Support Vessel to support operations in the White Rose Field.

This newbuild vessel will be built by Crist S.A. in Gdynia, Poland and delivered in 2027.

The 110m long vessel, based on the MMC Ship Design & Marine Consulting Ltd. 995L SBC hull design, will be a DP3, ice classed ship with a POB of 164 and a walk to work gangway.

The newbuild OSV (offshore support vessel), tentatively named ‘Project Sea Dragon’, will be delivered to service the White Rose field offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, for Cenovus Energy.
