Wednesday, September 11 2024

Wind Energy – Coastal Virginia OWF

This week, DEME celebrates the strong cooperation with Dominion Energy as CVOW hits the key milestone of installing 70 monopile foundations.

DEME’s offshore installation vessel Orion has been making tremendous progress installing foundations off the coast of Virginia.

Additionally, DEME has successfully laid the first export cable using the cable installation vessel Living Stone.

Once completed, the wind farm will consist of 176 turbines, generating enough renewable energy to power up to 660,000 homes.
